Extras
Sun Trust Group home insurance also offer a number of extra benefits, which you might consider when insuring your home.
The following are included as standard by Sun Trust Group 's Premier Cover Home Insurance, or can be purchased with Sun Trust Group 's Home Insurance for an additional premium.
- Home Emergency: Up to $500 for call out, labour and parts; and $200 for alternative accommodation.
- Accidental Damage (buildings and/or contents): For everyday mishaps to your permanent and non-permanent fixtures and fittings (contents and/or buildings accidental damage cover to be purchased separately).
- Family Legal Protection: Up to $100,000 for legal expenses and court proceedings, plus a 24-hour legal advice line. Also covers loss of earnings for jury service duty.
- Personal Possessions out of the home: For items you normally travel with, such as jewellery, mobile phone, camera, handbag, sports equipment and money - both in the UK and overseas (limit of 60 days for overseas cover on both policy types).
